Workforce Password Management
Importing of Credentials from Third-Party Password Managers
CyberArk Identity Workforce Password Management now supports credential migration from third-party password managers, including LastPass, KeePass, Google Password Manager, Dashlane and others. With this feature, users can import their existing business application accounts and leverage CyberArk Identity Cloud or the PAM Self-Hosted Vault to securely store and share those credentials. To access their existing apps through Workforce Password Management, end users only need to add exported credentials once using an intuitive interface. This simplifies migration to the CyberArk Workforce Password Management solution and enables enterprises to store data from business applications — like website URLs, usernames, passwords and notes — in a centralized vault. Mobile Authenticator
QR Code Authentication for Windows and Mac Endpoints
CyberArk Identity supports multifactor authentication (MFA) for endpoints, which requires Mac and Windows users to pass secondary authentication challenges during the login process. With this release, end users can now use QR codes and the already supported MFA factors, such as push notifications, physical tokens and OTP codes, to validate their identities. For example, after providing the correct username and password at endpoint login, users can now select the QR Code option from the secondary factor drop-down list and scan the QR code with their CyberArk Identity Mobile App to log in. In addition, on-device biometrics authentication mechanisms, such as facial recognition cameras or fingerprint readers, can be used to validate the user scanning the QR code.
CyberArk Identity QR code-based authentication, one of the most convenient and seamless authentication mechanisms, is now supported when CyberArk Identity Windows Cloud Agent or Mac Cloud Agent is deployed on the endpoint. To learn more about this new feature, please see the 22.6 release notes.
MFA Passcodes on Apple Watch
CyberArk Identity users can now view one-time passcodes (OTP) used for multifactor authentication on their Apple Watch. Previously, end users could use the Apple smartwatch to approve or deny access requests through push notifications. Now, they can also view OTP codes directly on their Apple Watch without opening the CyberArk Identity Authenticator app on their mobile device. This further reduces MFA friction and allows users to quickly pass identity verification challenges. Authentication Widget for Android Mobile Devices
Customers can now add the CyberArk Identity Authentication widget to their Android applications using the Android software development kit (SDK). With this widget, customers can authenticate and validate users with strong multifactor authentication (MFA) mechanisms. In addition, the Android authentication widget supports CyberArk Identity Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities, including self-service password reset, account unlock, user registration, social logins and more. This widget can be easily embedded into applications using the CyberArk Identity SDK for Android, , providing a seamless user experience with customization options for brand consistency.
