Ex Machina – The Attack Surface of AI-Driven Technology (CyberArk Labs Keynote)

July 16, 2024

The tremendous leap of AI technology has triggered an automation rush across every environment, including workforce, developers and IT. This automation rush relies on trusting machines. We grant bots access to information, databases, code repositories and access to other services. This opens and expands an additional attack surface -- one that we already know -- the machine identity attack surface. Lavi Lazarovitz, Head of Security Research at CyberArk Labs, discusses how AI services and bots will create an even more significant machine identity attack surface that will be a lucrative playground for threat actors.
