Government Security News Recognizes CyberArk as Market Leading Solution across Multiple Categories

NEWTON, Mass. – January 18, 2018 – CyberArk (NASDAQ: CYBR), the global leader in privileged account security, today announced it was named a 2017 Government Security News (GSN) Homeland Security Award winner in multiple categories for the second consecutive year. The CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution is the platinum winner for “Best Physical Logical Privileged Access Management Solutions” and gold winner for “Best Identity Management Platform.”

“CyberArk has the most comprehensive solution for addressing complex security and compliance challenges that government agencies, departments and critical infrastructure sectors face,” said Kevin Corbett, director of U.S. federal business at CyberArk. “These awards are further validation that CyberArk is leading the industry and setting the gold standard for innovative privileged account security solutions. We’re honored to be a GSN Homeland Security Award winner once again.”

Only CyberArk enables government agencies to eliminate the most advanced cyber threats – initiated by external attackers and malicious insiders – by identifying existing privileged credentials across networks, making sure those credentials are locked down and secure, and utilizing continuous monitoring to detect anomalous behavior and stop an attack early in the cycle to reduce damage. Additionally, as government agencies continue to invest in DevOps processes and cloud-based technologies, CyberArk’s innovative solutions are best positioned to protect agencies against an expanding attack surface.

The CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution has been added to the U.S. Department of Defense Unified Capabilities Approved Products List; independently validated and awarded an Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL) 2+ under the Common Criteria Recognition Agreement; and awarded the U.S. Army Certificate of Networthiness. It’s also positioned to help agencies meet FISMA/NIST SP 800-53, NERC-CIP, HSPD-12 and other compliance requirements.

The GSN Homeland Security Awards are widely recognized as the government industry’s premier cyber security awards. Products and solutions are judged on technological innovation and improvement, government IT security market needs, and flexibility in meeting current and future organizational needs among other things.
