Former General Manager of RSA’s Security Intelligence Business Brings Extensive Advanced Threat Detection Experience
NEWTON, Mass. – January 30, 2013 – Cyber-Ark® Software, a leading global information security provider for protecting and managing critical applications, identities and sensitive information, today announced the appointment of John Worrall as chief marketing officer (CMO). Worrall will be responsible for leading the development and communications of the company’s marketing vision and advanced threat strategy, while building on Cyber-Ark’s global leadership in key markets such as financial services, energy/utilities, government, healthcare, and more.

Worrall brings more than 15 years of global information security business management, marketing and product management experience to Cyber-Ark, the recognized leader in privileged account security. Prior to joining the company, Worrall was the executive vice president for CounterTack, a provider of advanced threat detection to large enterprises and government organizations. In addition, Worrall spent two years as the vice president and general manager of RSA’s security intelligence businesses, where he grew revenues in excess of 45 percent and expanded their global business. He also served as RSA’s senior vice president of marketing for four years, where he led the RSA Security global marketing efforts.
